Diablo 2 version 1.13d Patch Released With Much Criticism!
October 29, 2011Jackie R.
It has been over a decade since Blizzard has released Diablo 2, but recently a new patch for Diablo 2 has been released. The version 1.13d.
There have been many reviews towards the release of the patches. Some praise Blizzard for still supporting a game after 10 years of release, and some others calls this action “kicking a dead horse” implying that there is no point in releasing a patch for an old game.
Going yet deeper into the matter, some direct words from the critics is that “they could have done it 8 years ago! why do it now?“, and another say “spend the resources on fixing Diablo 3 bugs instead of wasting time on pointless action such as these.“.
But then again many claim that this is in fact a Blizzard scheme in bringing more attention to its games, and create a good advertising campaign for its upcoming Diablo 3 release that is currently very criticized due to its strict DRM that allows no modding for the game.
The future for Blizzard is still unknown you can see more details about the patch here.
